Diary of an Online Serial Dater

My online dating (mis)adventures uncensored...

There is still hope!

So things are looking pretty tasty this coming week in terms of new guys on my plate. There’s Rick (CoolMan24). He winked at me and sent me a short email sans spelling errors—always a turn-on. He looked reasonably cute in his profile photo, with a slight tendency toward albinism. Not usually my thing, but what is pigment anyway?  A hot tan pales in comparison to a winning personality ;). Lunch is planned for this Saturday at Spice Market. A bit of a hike for me but it’s a classy place, so I’m pretty pumped…

In the meantime I’m supposed to meet Kyle (Chill431) after work tomorrow. I have a good feeling about him. His emails were clever and sarcastic, very Seinfeld. Oh, and he has kind of a rugged, unshaven look. Kind of reminds of those punk guys from high school who smoked a lot of pot and listened to Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. Some can pull it off (these guys totally do it for me). But others don’t age well and end up just looking dirty and lazy with beer bellies that stretch the delicate fibers on their favorite Doors T-shirt. I’m hoping Kyle falls into the first category.

Then I have a third date tentatively set up for next Monday after work. I don’t know too much about Steve (SP177). I know he does some kind of investment bank bdm …ewlfml. Sorry I fell asleep. No, just kidding. He seems like a nice guy and he lives ten blocks from me. Also, he looked really cute in his pictures. So, yeah.  I’m optimistic that at least one of these guys won’t be a total waste of time.  I’ll report back on how things go with Kyle
