I’ve been meaning to write the whole thing down, but haven’t had a free second this weekend with my parents in town. Justin and I went out on Friday instead of Thursday (last minute change of plans because I had to work late… again, ugh). We met on my side of town and went to this really cool wine bar that I’ve been dying to check out.

When I arrived he was already sitting at a table in the front and looked really happy to see me. He also looked even hotter than I remembered. I was pretty awkward at first, because I couldn’t get over my nerves, but after a few glasses of wine I was pretty lightened up. I might of actually had a little too much… but we had a lot of fun and then he walked me to my cross street. The goodbye was kind of rushed because the bus was coming and he needed to jump on. Still, there were so many signs during the night that he was feeling the connection: he asked follow-up questions about things that I’d told him about on date #1, he smiled and laughed at some of my jokes, and he told me some serious stuff about his family.

Needless to say, I’m pretty confident that he’ll contact me today or tomorrow at the very latest to plan a third date. Until then, I’m going to have brunch with the folks and try to keep my mind out of my daydreams.
